As the warmer weather starts to arrive, it can be nice to be able to sit out in the garden and enjoy the sunshine - but it can become a real pain at night time. Trying to sleep when it's hot can be hard, and hot sticky nights can become uncomfortable.
With a 27C scorcher set to arrive in the UK, Britain will bask in the heat, and could be hit with a heat blast with scorching temperatures of almost 30C next month it may be tempting to just strip off and not sleep in clothes, experts have warned why you shouldn't ever sleep naked.

"You think shredding clothes helps you stay cool, but the opposite is true. Without any fabric, sweat clings to your body.
In the video, they continued: "Sleeping naked can disrupt your sleep cycle. You might lose more water from sweating. This can lead to dehydration overnight.
"Clothing can actually absorb that sweat, keeping you cooler." Instead, you should choose "light, breathable fabrics" which will help wick the moisture away from your skin. "That helps with the evaporation of cooling," they added. Light pyjamas can actually help you feel cooler.
Speaking on behalf of , Suzy Reading, a psychologist specialising in well-being, said: "I'd recommend opting for loose fitting, airy, light garments in natural fibres such as cotton, silk, eucalyptus or bamboo. I wouldn't recommend sleeping naked, as much as this might appeal, because sweat then collects on your skin rather than being absorbed by the fibres of your clothing and cooling you down.
"In addition to your own body temperature dropping when you sleep, ambient temperature can also drop at night, so light sleepwear will keep you more comfortable and promote better sleep."
The latest data, by WXCharts, showed that major cities could bask in sizzling conditions starting in the middle of May. According to the maps, which were highlighted in orange and yellow, London, Liverpool and should experience some of the warmest .
Leeds, Southampton and Norwich could also climb to relatively warm temperatures as forecasters share a delightful switch in conditions.
According to the charts, the mini-will hit parts of England by mid-day on May 12.
Between now and then, Brits can expect tonnes of sunshine with sweltering heat expected this week. meteorologist Craig Snell said the UK is "on track to see the warmest spell of the year so far."
